Big A, Call Me Mellow

Bitter fruits of ungratefulness

It hits me every time when coming about. By this age I’ve already used to the generic ingratitude of immature kids but I’ll never get used to ungratefulness of adult human beings. It’s just something we all more or less must live with. Still it’s a bitter experience every time.

Maybe if one could always strip even the smallest expectations would it then be more easy to run across them unfilled? Haven’t yet learnt that and let the devil collect me if I ever do. As however bad it feels when being insulted it never exceeds the joy of receiving commendation.

Hemingway Daiquiri Cocktail

Talking about bitter things I recall that Hemingway used to enjoy Daiquiri cocktails. It was as a matter of fact one of Ernest Hemingway’s favorite drinks. Among others…

I do admit I feel much more relaxed after two such cocktails. It’s amazing how a few shots makes all balance in one’s favor. Not that I would run directly to my drink cupboard every single time someone lame, underdeveloped and mentally deficient tosses a dull-edged spear but just to acknowledge I’m also enjoying Daiquiri cocktails. Among others….

I strongly believe good things happen to good people, eventually.

Cheerio
